Please register in advance to join us for the SoCal chapter of Bend the Arc’s first Jews of Color Shabbat event! This will be an exciting, fresh, and inclusive coming-together for people of color who identify as Jewish, no matter their level of involvement. Jewish people who identify as Mizrahi and/or Sephardic are welcome in our diversity.
We will be meeting virtually at 5:30 PST, and we’ll get to know each other during a “cook-along” over video. For this event, Bend the Arc and its partners have taken the great step of covering all costs for the uncooked meal of each RSVPed person. And delivery of the meal kit will be coordinated for you! You’ll need internet access and Zoom’s app installed to participate in Shabbat.
Please register today if you’re a JOCSM who can include this fun space in the practice of your Shabbat observance, and please complete the event’s diner survey beforehand which we will send upon RSVP. Please note: registration closes on Friday, February 12th.
