Join us for a screening of Birddog Nation and a conversation on what 100 days until the November 3rd election means for progressive action in Southern California.

July 26th marks 100 days until the November election, one of the most consequential days in our country’s history. For many of us in blue states like California, the road to election day may seem fairly straightforward. But activists and organizers are turning their attention towards key battlegrounds that will play a crucial role in November.

Join us for a screening of Birddog Nation, and a conversation with the Center of Popular Democracy and Southern California-based activists and organizations on what these final days entail for civic engagement. With 100 days to go, learn how we as local residents can best mobilize and engage with political campaigns and movements in swing state neighbors to ensure this election puts us on a path towards meaningful change.

This event will be hosted in Picture Motion's screening room with a post-screening conversation on Zoom. The conversation will focus on what individuals can do to use their civic power in these crucial final 100 days, what local campaigns to pay attention to, and how to mobilize fellow SoCal residents.  Rebecca L, Bend the Arc: Southern California leader, will be featured on the panel.  The screening begins at 5pm, and the panel discussion is at 6pm.
