Guess what - we've got you covered! The Whole 9 Gallery and Bend the Arc will be hosting a "house party" on Sunday, February 16th where you get to be a part of one of the most important actions in years. The country will have all eyes on LA if we pass this measure that will make a significant difference to so many lives.
Come hang out with us and learn how to get involved with efforts to pass Measure R and Reform LA Jails. Measure R will be on the LA County ballot for the March primary election and, if passed, will force LA to take a monumental leap forward to root out corruption to prevent abuses by the Jails and Sheriff’s Department. If passed, Measure R will initiate the research needed to divert funding from the building of more jails to investing in programs such as treatment for mental health issues, substance abuse, programs for employment and education and invest in the affordable housing the county so desperately needs.
