Join Bend the Arc: SoCal for a special screening of "Just Mercy"

You are invited to join Bend the Arc’s Southern California chapter for a special screening of Just Mercy, a powerful true story that follows a young lawyer, Bryan Stevenson, on his historic battle to fix our broken criminal justice system. Please join us for a short program about our organization’s work, followed by the feature film.

Bend the Arc is a movement of tens of thousands of progressive Jews across America who are working together to transform our country to be inclusive, equitable, and actively supportive of the dignity of every person and all communities impacted by structural inequality.

Since 2014, Bend the Arc has fought alongside powerful coalitions on the most pressing criminal justice issues of our time, like winning legislation to end youth solitary confinement. Currently, our Southern California chapter is working on the Reform LA Jails campaign, an LA County ballot measure that will strengthen oversight of our jail system and encourage investment in alternatives to incarceration. Our chapter also works on pressing immigration and housing justice issues in order to build a country where everyone can live, love, and thrive.
